Presently this holiday rental is not on offer for booking. Instead look for alternatives in Murat-sur-Vèbre, in the Midi-Pyrenees or in France.
On the border of Tarn and Hérault, the Reine gîte is located in the rural hamlet of Félines, in the town of Murat sur Vèbre.
Gastronomy, nature sports, relaxation activities, the surroundings of Murat/Vèbre bring together a range of activities thanks to a rare landscape diversity. You are between the Monts de Lacaune whose Pic du Montalet culminates at 1259 meters and the valleys of Hérault which have a Mediterranean air.
The water of Lake Laouzas (5 minutes away) allows all activities (fishing, swimming, canoeing, etc.)! Lacaune-les-Bains (15 minutes away) offers its Hot Springs space built on the former site of the Thermal Baths. Its naturally heated waters supply the wellness center and the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Children will be delighted to benefit from the pentagliss in the middle of the green park. And in winter under the snow, the Picotalin resort opens its cross-country ski and toboggan runs!
To fully immerse yourself in the region, discover Lacaune's charcuterie, its cheeses and its culinary specialties (bougnettes, muzzle-breakers, etc.). What better way to extend your vacation than to take a piece of local gastronomy home?
**THE COTTAGE**
The house adjoining that of the owners has recently been renovated to offer cozy and bright spaces. The accommodation is located upstairs. The exterior stairs next to the parking lot take you directly into the dining room-kitchen area. Well arranged, it has a refrigerator with freezer compartment, filter and Nespresso coffee makers, blender, food processor, pressure cooker, raclette machine, toaster, kettle... The lounge area is arranged around the fireplace – insert. On this landing is the first bathroom with toilet.
Upstairs: three bedrooms and the second bathroom.
1 bedroom with 1 bed 160 x 200
1 bedroom with 1 bed 140 x 190
1 bedroom with 1 140 x 190 bed + a fold-out bench to make a 100 single bed.
The entire house stands out with its warm and contemporary decoration. Wooden elements such as the parquet flooring upstairs add a warm touch. Ghislaine took care to reuse the existing furniture by revisiting it to bring a touch of modernity.
The garden (not attached to the house) is located next to the parking lot and has a barbecue, table and chairs. Right next door is the owners' vegetable garden. In order to immerse yourself in its agricultural regions, you will have the opportunity to visit the family farm which produces sheep's milk for the manufacture of Roquefort cheese. The Roquefort cellars are 1 hour from the house, but a few steps away is the farm's cheese dairy where you can get tommes, fresh cheeses, and even curds... for ultra-local!
