The “Sonnenkap“ holiday house is situated in Putgarten at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, right by the edge of a field. It is only 800 metres to the beach, also within convenient access by car. A wonderful mature garden stretches across the 600m2 site, with plenty of space to relax, sunbathe, play, grill and relax in the canopy beach chair. The 24m² terrace provides ample space and is very stylish and elegant with its teak wood furniture. You have a direct view of the Kap Arkona lighthouses, an insatiable view both by day and by night. A sandpit with toys, badminton, space for bicycles and a rotary dryer are also available outside.
The house provides a total living space of 110m², with optimal comfort for 5 guests and a small child, with a very high-quality and individual interior. The living room with five floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace affords a view over the fields and the lighthouses of Kap Arkona and the Kosegarten chapel in the fishing village Vitt. The ground floor consists of a large living and dining room with a lovely big fireplace and an open and fully-equipped kitchen, as well as a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sauna. The whole ground floor has underfloor heating. The upper floor comprises two large bedrooms for a total of five people. A cot can be provided in addition. The generous bathroom on the upper floor has a shower, toilet, washbasin and towel radiator.
Putgarten and Kap Arkona regularly have around 2000 hours of sunshine a year, the most in the whole of Germany, according to the German weather service. All seasons are suitable for a holiday. The north of Rügen is a nature paradise that you can explore on foot or by bicycle. Chalk cliffs, kilometre-long beaches, imposing brick churches, beech forests and little harbour towns characterise the landscape. Beach walks are especially charming. It is also worth visiting the world cultural heritage and Hanseatic town Stralsund with the Ozeaneum, as well as Sellin and Binz with their traditional seaside architecture.
